Dr. Anshuman Singh is a Uro-Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon with a dedicated focus on the management of urological cancers. After an M.S. and an M.Ch. in Urology (Gold Medalist) came further training in the treatment of urological cancers and in robotic surgery for complex cases, in India, Spain and the U.K.
Dr. Singh now practises exclusively in Uro-Oncology, seeing patients at Chandan Hospital in the daytime and at Uro-Onco Connect, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow in the evening, with an emphasis on careful evaluation, evidence-based treatment planning and continuity of care for patients with prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular and penile cancers.

Prostate CancerOften found through a raised PSA test. Options range from active surveillance to robotic radical prostatectomy and radiotherapy, depending on the stage and grade.
Kidney & Upper Tract CancerUsually found by chance on an ultrasound or CT scan. Many tumours can be removed while keeping the rest of the kidney (partial nephrectomy).
Bladder CancerThe most common sign is blood in the urine. Early tumours are removed through a telescope (TURBT), often followed by BCG; muscle-invasive cancer may need cystectomy.
Testicular CancerUsually a painless lump or swelling in a testis, most often in young men. Treatment starts with removing the affected testis and is highly curable.
Penile CancerShows as a sore, growth or patch on the penis that does not heal. Found early, it can often be treated while preserving the organ.
Robot-Assisted SurgeryMinimally invasive surgery in which the surgeon controls robotic instruments, used for prostate, kidney and bladder cancer operations with small cuts and a quicker recovery.
Retroperitoneal TumoursGrowths deep in the back of the abdomen, near the kidneys and large blood vessels. Careful scans and planning come first; surgery is the main treatment.
